Who We Are:
Established in 2008, Jyoti Kiran Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving underprivileged children and families, providing educational and healthcare services as well as skill training and income-generation programs.
Our Vision:
A world where every child has the opportunity to shine, regardless of their background. A world where every family has the opportunity to pursue dignified livelihoods, regardless of their background.
We believe that Education is one of the most powerful tools to break the cycle of poverty and build brighter future for individuals, families, and communities.
Why It Matters
Uneducated children grow into adults with fewer opportunities, poorer health, and lower income potential. This affects not just their own lives but the well-being of their families and communities. For girls, lack of education can lead to early marriage, poor maternal health, and limited independence. For boys, it can result in early entry into hard labour, exposure to drugs and crime, and long-term economic hardship.
• Educated children are more likely to lift their families out of poverty.
• Girls who learn are more likely to delay marriage, have healthier children, and contribute to their families and communities.
• Boys who learn are more likely to find stable employment, lead healthier lives, and become responsible members of society.
• Communities thrive when both boys and girls are given equal opportunities to succeed.
